Before you get too deep into your weekend, make sure you pick up this fresh remix from New Jersey’s Gazzo, whom we’ve previously featured for his impressive takes on the likes of JJAMZ and Y LUV, and also appeared in our Progressive House Top Picks of 2012 for his remix of the latter. Since, he’s continued to do some outstanding work, most recently releasing an amazing remix of Breathe, the familiar track from French trio Télépopmusik back in 2002. Gazzo’s spin provides a modern soundscape that fuses his smooth progressive style with deeper house elements, taking a current approach on the classic. The relaxed nature of the original has been lessened but only slightly, and the subtleties of the production are still there, with entrancing vocals and a powerful melody that will hook you from the first play.
